Collect a minimum of three references written on the Au Pair in America Please read ‘Reference Guidelines’ before submitting your references. Reference Forms. -
Medical check up
Arrange a medical check up, and complete all pages of the Medical form. 2 pages are completed by you, and 2 pages by your doctor. -
Australian Federal Police Check
Download the Australian Federal Police Check form from our web site, and send a cheque for $32.73 payable to “AIFS” -
CISI Insurance
A plan of insurance designed for Au Pair in America
Collect the following items to provide with your application – you can upload them online, or send them to AIFS Sydney to be scanned
- Copies of the latest school, academic and/or vocational certificates or diplomas you hold, or a letter from your school/college verifying the dates you attended and the qualifications you gained. (Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must supply a copy of the appropriate childcare qualification or a reference confirming their experience)
- A copy of your full drivers’ license (P plates okay)
- Passport copy
- 4-6 Photographs of yourself and children you care for (one must be a ‘passport-style’ photo of you)
