You’ll find a huge variety of goods and stores available in the US. Many stores are part of large shopping malls, which can contain department stores, specialty shops, food courts, beauty services and more. You’ll find many of the same chains of stores are represented across the country.
In the US, malls and stores are often open much later than you would expect in Australia. Malls stay open until as late as 9 or 10pm on weekdays; that’s all weekdays, not just ‘late night’ shopping!
In many ways, malls serve as social centers, not just places to buy things. Many malls host events, and entertainment, and of course are a popular hangout for local teens!
