EduCare
Educare Colleges and Universities
For EduCare companions, there is a much greater emphasis on study while in the US. You will receive $1,000 to spend on courses, and study for at least 6 hours per week during term time, giving you at least 12 semester credit units at an accredited college by the end of the year.
Education for international students in the US is generally expensive, but EduCare in America gives you a taste of college life without having to pay high fees, while earning a weekly wage and having the support of your host family.
You will be enrolled in a college or university near the community where you will live. The college or university will offer a wide range of courses to choose from as well as excellent library, computer and sports facilities plus a variety of student activities. In some instances, you may choose to attend more than one college or university. All EduCare companions are placed in communities with good access to university facilities.
Hi, my name is Claire and I am living in a town just outside of Boston. I am settling in really well and having a lot of fun getting to know the area and meeting heaps of new people.
