Why did you want to be an Au Pair?

I was intereseted in becoming an Au Pair as, I already worked in the Childcare industry. I wanted to travel and gain new experiences. Have stories to tell, meet new people and creae some amazing memories. I found a great opportunity to do all of that and I definitely got what I set out for, and more.

Was there any particular holiday or even you were interested in?

I was really excited to see how big Halloween was in America, and boy was it big... I dressed up with my host family in the "Incredibles" outfit. All seven of us and marched the streets. All the families were dressed up and the houses were decorated so well. It was a great experience.

What was your host family like?

My Host family were awesome, they had the best sense of humour and I was always in stitches laughing with them. At the end of the day I would spend a bit of time with them, talking, laughing and planning things to come.

What did you miss the most?

The thing I missed the most from Australia, would be the food!!! Lamb cutlets... My family and friends too, but the food for sure.

Do you recommended this program to others?

i absolutely recommened this programme to others, it was a fantastic experience, one that I will never forget. It made me a much more responsible and mature person. I have made so many happy memories.

Half way thorugh my year I had forgotten that I only met these people 6 months ago. It felt like I had know them my whole life. I have many stories and experiences that I will treasure forever.
